DCSS Student Records Department
The DCSS Student Records Department provides information for Dougherty County School System alumni students only. FERPA Law and the Dougherty County Board of Education policy require the release of education records to the student or parent/legal guardian if the student is under 18 years of age.
A non-refundable $5.00 processing fee MUST accompany each transcript or graduation verification request. Cash, money order, or school/business checks are the only acceptable forms of payment. No credit cards or personal checks are accepted.
Valid state issued identification is required for each request. With the property military ID, the processing fee will be waived (this does not include dependent ID cards).
An Authorization to Release Student Records MUST be completed and signed, therefore a telephone call will not release any form of record.
Student Records can assist you with your request for the years 1960-2014.
You will be referred to your former school if questions arise about your transcript/record.
Diplomas are considered ceremonial documents. Student Records does not keep copies of diplomas, however the transcript is the official record.
Student Records will NOT fax or e-mail transcripts/records. Requests will be MAILED from the Student Records Office. Allow 3 business days for processing.
Walk-ins may pick up transcripts/records in person during regular business hours.
For faster response to further questions, please e-mail Student Records at firstname.lastname@example.org
