DCSS Student Records Department
Dougherty County School System requires payment for transcript service at the time a request is submitted. Payment of $5.00 per document may be made by money order or cash. Requests are accepted either by U.S. Mail or in person. Telephone and/or e-mail transcripts are not accepted. We are unable to process credit card payments for transcript services.
PLEASE NOTE: The release of a student transcript requires a signed request from the student (or the parent/legal guardian if the student is under 18 years of age) except in specific, limited conditions. A telephone call will NOT release your records.
If you left the Dougherty County School System less than three years ago, contact your former school to obtain transcript copies. DCSS high schools close the first week of June and may not be available to process a transcript request until the beginning of the next school year.
If you left the Dougherty County School System more than three years ago, download and complete the Authorization to Release Student Records linked above and mail it or deliver it in person to obtain transcript copies.
The Dougherty County School System does not keep copies of diplomas. The high school transcript is the official record of achievement and diplomas are considered ceremonial documents.
THE DCSS CANNOT PROVIDE COPIES OF RECORDS CREATED BY OTHER AGENCIES. THE FOLLOWING RECORDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE SCHOOL SYSTEM:
